Hi Norene,
Yes I know what you mean, but we know that it can be serious.
Us girls are in the minority I think
We must stick at it.
I plan to start coaching next year - and I would love to focus on women marketers and their issues.
Regards
Sue

Hi Sue,
The hardest part for me is taking this business seriously. I 'work' at it every day, but not like my life depended on it, and that is what I need to do in order to make it a full time business and not a part time hobby. Thanks for the wake up call! Keeping my goals in front of me, as well as by list of accomplishments really helps to keep me motivated. -Norene

Hi Sue,

I think point three is critical if you have a family. It removes you from any distractions and may even help get you into a working mindset. With that in place points one and two might be a bit easier.

As most of us working from know, scheduling can be a real headache to maintain which is why planning can be so important. I can't get my head wrapped around long term planning...perhaps when I start to see some success...but I do make sure I have plans/goals set on a daily/weekly basis. That way I have something to strive for and, also, measure what I've done.

So, when the schedule gets skewed, I still have those goals prodding me to make up for it.

Cheers,
Rod
