Daily Traffic

I have just begun my traffic generation strategy for this relatively new blog.

I have begun to get a steady flow of visitors, and have got my Google analytics set up.

But what I want to share with you today is one of my traffic strategies, which I will repeat daily.

I joined the MyBlogLog community, and entered my profile and blog details, and began to join some communities, in my niche.

What I will continue to do on a daily basis is join 15 MyBlogLog Communities (15 is the daily limit).

If all the blogs I follow, follow me back then that is a potential 105 new visitors just from ten minutes per day, which is all it takes to join 15 communities.

Another useful tool generated from MyBlogLog is the ‘recent visitors’ widget. This can be easily installed in a widget in your sidebar, and shows your recent visitors – those who belong to the MyBlogLog community.

On a weekly basis I will visit some of the MyBlogLog communities, even if I do not get time to read any. A very quick visit will leave your avatar in their sidebar, if they have the recent visitors widget installed.  This in itself can encourage more visitors if they see your avatar, and click on it.

MyBlogLog also has an excellent analytics section, which not only shows you where your visitors come from but also where they click on when they leave, which is very useful, and even better that Google Analytics.  However there is a small upgrade fee if you want to view more that the top ten of your visitors, but it is worth it to see where your visitors are clicking when they leave your blog.

So, this is part 1 of what I suspect will be a very long series of posts on traffic generation strategies.

So keep following to see how I am progressing – and good luck with your traffic generation!
